LN #9 - Remote control and L402

The last live was a milestone for me as it closed the first cycle of lives on "learning to write plugins".

We can now move on to the next cycle: "Remote control of CLN nodes".

If this is a topic you are interested in join us in the next live where we are going to look at the commands commando (that let you run methods on a directed connected peer) and commando-rune (that let you generate runes - restriction tokens).

It will be put on https://community.corelightning.org/c/events.

Have you heard about Lightning HTTP 402 Protocol (L402)?

This protocol takes advantage of the HTTP error code 402 Payment Required to support the use case of charging for services and authenticating users in distributed networks.

It has been developed by Lightning Labs during the last ¾ years and seems to really take off right now with its use case to charge for AI api calls.

You can find its specification and it is currently discussed as a bLIP (blip-0026).

If you want to know more about L402:

Have a nice day, see you next time.
