Think for yourself before you ask

About: Every Saturday, I share my thoughts on working with AI. Subscribe for free.

Do you need an answer? Or do you need to understand?

Just the answer. Perfect. Then you should ask AI right away and move on.

But if you need to understand, think for yourself before you ask.

Spend time on your problem. Break it down. Reframe it. Read about it. Put time and energy into finding solutions. Then ask for answers.

Why?

Because, your mind will reward your effort. It will add a whole new dimension to the answers. You'll be ready to accept them or reject them. It will also keep anything worth saving. It will keep the small details that matter only to you. Then it will bring them back someday, right when you need them.

Magic, right?

But you must make the effort first.
