When "I can do this" became "I can get this done"

You're not born confident. You build confidence every day by doing the thing. But when you stop doing the thing, that confidence erodes.

If AI creates the things you used to produce by hand, in some sense, how do you build the confidence that you can still create those things?

You don't. You build something different. You build faith in AI tools. You trust that they will keep building the things you used to build, and even get better at it.

It's different. Confidence vs. faith.

Or maybe I'm completely wrong, and this "faith" is also confidence. But I don't see it that way yet. It's the confidence that you can create AI systems that build things for you.

Did you notice the moment "I can do this" turned into "I can get this done"?
